Meeting our public...

We've been so busy talking to people about our book that there's been no time to tell you about our next topic - fandangos, Look for a post on this incredibly popular and varied palo by the end of the weekend.

Meanwhile, there's plenty to report. Look out for the three-part serialisation of 'A Summer in Flamenco' in The Olive Press. The first part is already out and the next two will appear on February 12th and 19th.

You can read the paper online at http://www.theolivepress.es/
Scroll down to where the online version appears on the right, or get a paper edition from your local Tourist office or another outlet near you.

While the people at the Olive Press were working, Adrián has been busy too. On January 31st, he was awarded a Master's degree in Computer Science with a grade of 9.5 out of 10 and with this, he said goodbye to his university days. From now on, he'll be concentrating on dance.

That doesn't mean he's forgotten how to use a computer, and he's created a great booktrailer for A Summer in Flamenco. You can find it on YouTube by following this link:

We had fun choosing the background music, 'Moonlight' by the legendary flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía, and we hope you like it too.

Last week, Adrián was filmed by Shaun Clarke for his forthcoming series 'People of La Janda' and enjoyed the opportunity to hold forth about flamenco and his own experiences in the art.

Meanwhile, Jackie has been interviewed by the  Costa Women network as their 'featured woman of the week'.

And in addition to that, we're beginning to fix a series of 'meet the author' events for the Spring. Look out for a date near you!
